When we were developing our Blackbox retail formula, we also kept young readers in mind. The attractive seating elements in cheerful shapes and colours immediately attract the attention of children. Toddlers are delighted when they see the open browsing bins full of picture books. The books are presented frontally and the bins are low so that everything is within reach for the children.

For the very youngest readers, we have the special orange BoekStart bookcase, in which the books have protective covers. The bookcase also includes space for the BoekStart suitcases (free for parents of young children). In the Blackbox formula, the walls of the children’s corner are decorated with eye-catching children’s drawings.
